How  House-Gigs..(gigs where you play?  whatever gig,...but you are on the steady.) I started getting gigs when I was 16 ,.., , but having a gig in your pocket...set,.know your club-owners) , I was 18 or 19 when I got  a steady  gig in Lagrange , in 77-78, I talked to the club owner on a night , when the band  was really bad./So it was easy to be good  when the band he had was were amatuers, ,..so he really hired us right the On the spot...(he had only been in buisness a few weeks) the Rainbow  Inn , Lagrange Ga ,.1978 we were calleed Toto,.., not the Toto singing about Africa, &Hold the line,.our local thugs,. as far back as 1977-79 I was pretty good, of Getting Gigs...and I was always good at having a truck, a PA, chords, mics,. and we stayed busy,me Oz, Autry,.and Mark Olsen , rock band ..Toto  went over really good in lagrange , this was about the time Jami farr future Molly Hatchet singer and his band in Lagrange , were playing at our oth...

These were the days from the late 70s till the 21st century,.I loved being a musician, and the status that that gave me around the buisness people that congregated at clubs , man knew so many people,..I remember , we got a gig to play at 4am to 6am, in Phenix City at one of those old night clubs , that still had old slot machines stored in the attic , from back in the days Phenix City was a mob town, it still is really ,..,,Sin city,... back in the 50s Phenix City had to be under martial law , one corrupt town , this pic is from 1978l its a ad of me and , the basics of ROCK DRUMMING  

Here I is the band Western Connection , we were 1 pf the best bands around the Bluefield, Beckley , Prin\ceton  area1981- 1985 , we were the house band at Star Country nightclub in Princeton Wva, , me and Brian were recruited to get off the road in 1981 , when management came out to Bluefield wher we were playing  at the Holiday inn lounge  , after a short break in Jan 1981, me and Brian Hill(d1987)went back to these hills and joined , or rather formed Dixie/Western Connection, another steady gig for 4 years, man,..West Virginia was , a wild time,..never forget those days, looking back , learned alot of lifes lessons , found out that those mountais, had a lot of girls plenty of sex. in those hill, down below on stage in Ouray Colo,.1994  I was all over the country ,in the entertainment biz, what was important....I never got bored. Time was at a standstill , yet time was going by at a rapid pace, I returned back to Georgia,.in `1995,..Gary Adkins let me stay in his ol...

  Here I am as an alias ,.Alexander,,,,this is a promo shot, Id guess  you call it,..showing my pearl set onstage in Colorado,  1994 ,.....a good gig, money was good, the gig was a theatre not a bar, we played 2 hrs a night , did comedy /like Hee Haw,.generally acted like professionals,.the audience was mainly tourists that  came to Colorado for the events the Rockies are famous for, just over the mountain was Telluride Colo,.
