1994 Fender Stratocastor, and other stuff

You have to have good music equipment to sound your best ,I used an alesis D4 , to get a much bigger drum sound plus a big 18 cab,..I  recorded on an 8trk , had my strat , an ibanez elec, 3 or 4 different acoustics , good mics, a mixing board , effects, reverb,., accumilating for years   

Playing with road bands and playing .House-gigs (16 years )

How  House-Gigs..(gigs where you play?  whatever gig,...but you are on the steady.) I started getting gigs when I was 16 ,.., , but having a gig in your pocket...set,.know your club-owners) , I was 18 or 19 when I got  a steady  gig in Lagrange , in 77-78, I talked to the club owner on a night , when the band  was really bad./So it was easy to be good  when the band he had was were amatuers, ,..so he really hired us right the On the spot...(he had only been in buisness a few weeks) the Rainbow  Inn , Lagrange Ga ,.1978 we were calleed Toto,.., not the Toto singing about Africa, &Hold the line,.our local thugs,. as far back as 1977-79 I was pretty good, of Getting Gigs...and I was always good at having a truck, a PA, chords, mics,. and we stayed busy,me Oz, Autry,.and Mark Olsen , rock band ..Toto  went over really good in lagrange , this was about the time Jami farr future Molly Hatchet singer and his band in Lagrange , were playing at our oth...

These were the days from the late 70s till the 21st century,.I loved being a musician, and the status that that gave me around the buisness people that congregated at clubs , man knew so many people,..I remember , we got a gig to play at 4am to 6am, in Phenix City at one of those old night clubs , that still had old slot machines stored in the attic , from back in the days Phenix City was a mob town, it still is really ,..,,Sin city,... back in the 50s Phenix City had to be under martial law , one corrupt town , this pic is from 1978l its a ad of me and , the basics of ROCK DRUMMING
